Outside organizations, individual makers, and educational institutions:
One of the primary purposes of our School Maker Faire is to inspire our students to be creative individuals who are prepared to solve problems and make meaningful and innovative contributions to society. We want the students to see that there are people in the community who support that goal and can inspire them with their innovation and creativity.
You can get involved in one or more of these ways:
1) Answer the CALL FOR MAKERS to set up a display, demonstration, or presentation at the School Maker Faire. There is no cost to participate. If you have creations to sell, you may do so as long as you also offer an activity or demonstration.
2) Become a sponsor of the Faire. Help support our student makers by donating goods, services, or money to provide things like tables, signs, prizes, t-shirts. and food for our volunteers.
$100 or more = School Maker Faire Sponsor; $500 or more = Community Partner
Email Dain Elman at [email protected] to inquire about sponsorship.
3) Visit a school or classroom prior to the Faire and share your time and talents with our students in a presentation or demonstration. Email Dain Elman at [email protected] to inquire about a school visit.
